We are a direct lending school. All loans and Pell monies are generated from our office.
In the pilot program during the Clinton term, Bernard’s School of Hair Fashion had the distinction of being 1 of only 3 cosmetology schools, nationwide, to be selected for this program. This direct lending program is still ongoing.

Accreditation
Mr. Bernard's School of Hair Fashion, Inc., is licensed by the State of Maine Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, 35 State House Station, August, Maine 04333.
The school is approved for Veterans. Training under the current G.I. Bill, Veterans Administration, Togus, ME 04330.
In addition, it is approved by the Vocational Rehabilitation Program, Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Human Services, 200 Main Street, Lewiston, ME 04240, and is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (N.A.C.C.A.S.), 901 North Stuart Street, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22203-1816.
